The nature of today’s Corporate and federal structures encompass various subcultures that are both volatile and turbulent. The emergence of this changing climate is causation to the desensitization of the moral decline of our world. We observe immorality, unfair bias, social injustice and mistreatment against social groups, and crimes against humanity that are readily visible on a daily basis. We ascertain that these changes have become what is universally accepted rather than letting our true conscience and litmus of goodness be our guide. I’ve observed few organizations with intention be particularly innovative in commandeering the generational divide that many leaders find challenging in the culture that is now our operating environment. At the forefront of inculcating a narrative that serves the highest interests and expresses a genuine effort to provide sound spiritual and moral leadership to a generation of millennials and Generation Z’ers is at the heart of spiritual leaders and mental health professionals. The guidance and expertise that we provide to world leaders, corporate officers, command teams, families and peers allow for a systematic yet objective worldview that is transmogrified into our professions core tenets. The challenge of this mission is often seeded in providing spiritual and moral support in a non-spiritual or moral context.
I surmise that true spiritual leadership is a derivative of relational ontology. A leader cannot influence what he or she does not seek to understand and appreciate. Here in lies much trepidation regarding the consensus, level of tolerance and standard deviation of acceptable risk in every professional and social organization. To restate in simpler terms, every day leaders are assessing and reassessing the needs of their organizations within a real life context of “fight tonight”…survival. My personal goal has been to move people from just surviving to thriving. Our influences are subtle, yet definitive; harsh but gentle…”as wily as the serpent yet as harmless as a dove (Matthew 10:16).” Yet, we as men and women of faith are diametrically opposed to many of the aggregate themes of immorality we see in the world today. We must emphasize that legality does not equate to morality, but morality does indeed lead to righteousness. There is a divinity that resides on the inside of each of us. Working to reveal that light, the light of the Divine spoken of by John the Apostle is a life’s work that shall remain the mission and core of our vision and principles at Amazing Wellness Inc.
